360 Commercial have been awarded the design and build contract for the new mobile scanning units at Great Western Hospital. The new facility will allow three mobile diagnostic units for Breast Screening, CT/MRI and PET CT scanning.
The works are taking place in the South Block car park close to the helicopter landing base and emergency department.
Following an initial brief by the client with the 360 design team, working drawing were produced and approved by the client. The works involved ground works and Civils with a new bell mouth car park entrance and a large concrete base to park the trailers on. Mechanical & Electrical design included for specialist feeder pillars to allow the mobile bases to be docked and connected to power, water and waste. These trailers require a large amount of power with 200 amp connections and back up generators.
