LATEST NEWS LETTER FOR SEPTEMBER 2017

The Royal Berkshire Charity Soapbox Challenge

On the 19th of August at Englefield Park the CEO of 360 Medical, John Goldsmith, and an employee, Dai Maddocks, were thrilled to take part in the Royal Berkshire Charity Soapbox Challenge. This involved Dai starting with a push followed by John in control behind the wheel. All soapboxes had to be homemade by the contestants in order for them to enter. Our cart was part made with left over plastic wall panels from a hospital project.

This is a new event set up by The Royal Berks Charity. The charity helps provide extras that make a difference to patients, their visitors and our staff, which we feel strongly about as a company which works closely with the Royal Berkshire Hospital. Donations help:

  • provide better facilities for patients and visitors;
  • buy the most up to date equipment;
  • improve staff training and welfare;
  • support rebuilding and refurbishment projects

360 Medical are delighted to announce that we managed to raise £1,030.00 for the Royal Berkshire Charity, which was 205% over our target of £500. Another bonus to this tremendous event was winning first place with the fastest time of the soapbox challenge course.

We plan to enter next year with another winning combination of driver and pusher.

We would also like to thank the Royal Berks Charity and Benyon family for a great day out and raising over £8k for the Royal Berkshire Hospital along with out sponsors Wisepower Electrical, Heron Mechanical and Glendining Signs.
